Journey Through the Dark Original Watercolor Painting

This painting is titled "Journey Through the Dark". I painted it while recovering from a mountain biking accident that left me with a broken arm. For months I had to rehab my arm and shoulder and it felt like my world became very small. Just short journeys between home and my physical therapist. But I leaned into painting and spending time in my garden, just taking in the beauty at home. Through the healing process I gained a new sense of resilience and found a way to light my world when the old ways had to be put on hold.

this painting is roughly 12”x18”.
