A red tailed hawk soaring through a clear blue sky. This is a reproduction print of my original watercolor painting.
I have a special connection to red tailed hawks. While in college in Pullman, WA I used to ride my horse, Ranger, in the Palouse hills. In one area there were several perches red tailed hawks frequented. Ranger and I would ride to each of these perches looking for hawks and sometimes we would race below the hawks soaring through the sky to try to beat them to their next perch. It was so fun to watch them, even if they were peacefully resting. I no longer live in Pullman and I had to sell Ranger years ago so I'm not out scouting red-tailed hawks, but any time I see one I'm immediately reminded of my rides with Ranger.
All of my fine art prints are professionally scanned and color corrected to look as close to the original as possible. All prints are professionally printed on archival fine art paper by a print shop in Portland, OR. They come sealed in an archival plastic sleeve and packaged in a sturdy envelope. Larger sizes may come rolled, in a tube. If I have the size you order in stock the print will ship from me. If I do not have it in stock you will receive your print as a drop ship order from Gango Custom Printing. Their turn around time on print orders is very prompt. When you receive one of my prints you can trust that they are printed at the highest quality and will last a life time when properly framed under glass.
